A few practical questions
The front desk takes your name and a good number to reach you, and finds a time that works. Your health questions are saved for Dr. Carroll.Your visit with Dr. Carroll
About half an hour, one on one. He goes over your history, what you've tried before and what you want to change, then tells you what he recommends.A decision you make
If treatment is a good fit, he walks you through what's involved and what it costs before anything starts. The decision is yours.
Good to know before you call
A few quick things that make the call easier.
You'll reach the front desk in Maitland
The number goes straight to the front desk during office hours.
Bring your history, not paperwork
What you've tried, roughly when, and the medications and conditions you're being treated for. He'll ask; you don't need to prepare anything.
Telemedicine or in person, your call
Both are the same appointment with the same physician. Most people here choose telemedicine. You need to be in Florida at the time of the visit.
Cost is explained before you commit
The first visit is free. What treatment would cost rises with the dose, not with how long you've been in treatment, and he goes through it with you before anything starts.

Questions people ask before booking
Is the first visit really free?
Yes. The first visit costs nothing, by telemedicine or in the office.
Will I see the doctor at my first visit?
Yes. The front desk books the time, and the visit itself is with Dr. Carroll, the physician who would manage your treatment.
Can my first visit be by telemedicine?
Yes. Most people here are seen by telemedicine, including for a first visit, and it's the same appointment either way. You need to be in Florida at the time of the visit.
What do I need to have ready for my first visit?
Nothing formal. It helps if you can recall what you've already tried, roughly when, and the medications and conditions you're being treated for — but he'll ask, so you don't need to prepare a file.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Ask when you call, and the front desk will find the soonest time that works for you.
What if I decide not to go ahead?
That's entirely up to you. Nothing starts at the first visit except a conversation, and you'll know what treatment would involve and cost before committing to anything.
Calling outside office hours?
The desk is open Mon–Fri 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Outside those hours, leave a message with your name and number, and the front desk will call you back.
